Weekly Online Family Mindfulness and Yoga

About this Event

This event is for children aged 6-10 and their parents/caregivers.

Come join me virtually through Zoom on Tuesday afternoon's weekly to have fun and learn some useful mindfulness and yoga activities that can be incorporated into your daily lives.

These techniques have been proven to improve mental health and well-being.

 

Mindful activities will include:

• Creative arts and sensory exploration

• Movement practices (fast and slow)

• Guided relaxation

• Yoga and massage (partner/group and individual)

At MindScents we recognize how empowering it is to stay connected to other women. We also have personally experienced the power of combining mindfulness with essential oils to create the most effective support tools for our life-long mental health and well-being. Both mindfulness and aromatherapy are backed by research to be effective in changing our brain's natural response to stress.

Beautiful essential oils are woven throughout our workshop to improve the guided relaxation, stress management breathing exercises and calming/uplifting movement techniques.

MindScents Virtual 3 Week Family Summer Camp
Mindfulness & Aromatherapy - August 12, 19, 26 - 3 to 4 pm

MindScents is a unique combination of mindfulness and aromatherapy, and we make both practices simple and accessible for all.

This camp is for children aged 4-10 years old and their parents/caregivers.

About this Event

  • A special Virtual Summer Camp to help you feel more balanced, relaxed and resilient.

  • 3-4 pm Zoom meeting on Wednesday afternoons to do fun, engaging and interactive activities including mindful movement and relaxation, sensory exploration, creative and imaginative arts.

  • Each family receives a MindScents toolkit including

    • Essential oil roller bottle

    • Other sensory materials

    • Affirmation sheets and activity instructions

  • Each week will build on the last and help you more naturally to use your toolkit to manage stress and uncertainty and feel more joyful and connected.

  • $40 Registration

    • Includes toolkit, activity materials and 3 week virtual summer camp for your family

Online Mindful Parenting - Four Week Series
Next group starts July 9th Thursdays at 8pm
Weekly Online Mindful Parenting group that will combine aspects of Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Resilience training

About this Event


Join me virtually through Zoom one evening a week for four weeks to gain some very useful mindfulness and resiliency tools that will support you and your child/children.

 

Discover how beneficial mindfulness techniques can be in managing stressful situations more effectively for you and your family.

Each week you will deepen your own personal journey in learning to apply mindfulness practices to your and your children’s everyday lives.

Simple breathing and meditation techniques, as well as bringing mindfulness and nonjudgmental awareness into daily activities can be learned in a short span of time.

You will discover how powerful and easy-to use these techniques are and how you can help your children learn to apply them.

During these times of social distancing and isolation, come and meet other parents and share this journey of discovery.

As COVID-19 continues to spread across the globe, we are working to support families through these uncertain times. All of us want our kids to thrive, but unfortunately parenting is not always easy as each of our children are unique.
